R.I.S.E. Program

The R.I.S.E Program (Relationship-building, Introspection, Support and Excellence) is a learning hub for racialized employees to create a promotion ready cohort of leaders. ​The program invests in the continued growth of Intact leaders, aligning with our leadership development commitments while acknowledging the experiences of racialized leaders. Participants come together to reflect on their experiences, develop leadership skills, network and share institutional knowledge through the guidance of facilitators and mentors.     

R.I.S.E. applies a group mentoring approach to development and exposure to senior leaders who guide participants through a process of sharing, discovery and learning around themes of common need and interest.

Earning Criteria

course

9 hours of facilitated sessions including a networking event. These sessions are delivered in small groups and are designed to support the growth and development of racialized leaders with the participation of Intact Senior Leaders (Mentors & Sponsors).

Participation in group mentoring sessions with other racialized leaders to help develop leadership skills, cultivate communication skills, gain an appreciation for diverse perspectives, and grow participant networks.

Participants must complete a development plan and a self-assessment, designed to help evaluate their own performance, skills, and competencies, and to help empower them to take ownership of their professional growth and career development.
